tenure of Dan Sileo: Despite making his NFL début in 1987, Dan spent his entire NFL tenure participating on special teams and serving as a backup.

In 1992, he endeavored to obtain a roster spot with the Orlando Thunder of the World League of American Football. He contributed to the Las Vegas Sting’s postseason advancement and was named an honorable mention All-League performer for the team.

Dan was recruited by Cowboy Bob Orton in 1993 and underwent training in Atlanta. He competed for the Catch Wrestling Association in Vienna, Austria, under the alias Bonecrusher Sileo. He subsequently was signed by New Japan Pro Wrestling and performed at the Tokyo Dome.

Dan began his radio career after being recruited as a sports anchor for the morning program Dunbar and Rosie on 810 KGO San Francisco.

He then proceeded to a different local station, 680 KNBR, where he hosted Sportsphone 68. In 1998, following his relocation to Tampa, he commenced hosting the morning program on 620 WDAE. In 2000, he presided over The Dan Sileo Show from 4:00 to 8:00 a.m.

His tenure as the morning commute host on 620 WDAE in Tampa was one of the longest of his career. He was recruited in February 2014 by The Mighty 1090 AM XEPRS in San Diego to host the morning program from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m.

In January 2018, at 10:90 AM, Sileo departed The Mighty to become a member of the brand-new discussion program The Machine. Comparably, IHeartMedia engaged him in August 2019 to deliver daytime programming on Sports 910 KGME in Phoenix.
