On September 18, 2022, Brittany Cherry, a DWTS season 31 behind-the-scenes choreographer, married her long-term boyfriend Bryan Agnew. The 28-year-old professional dancer married at the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, California. Bryan Agnew works in Netflix Business Affairs.
Cherry and Agnew’s wedding ceremony was attended by 80 people, including Jenna Johnson, a professional dancer who has appeared on DWTS and So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). Several DWTS cast members were unable to attend Cherry’s wedding due to the show’s camera-blocking practices, as season 31 is set to premiere on September 19, the day after her wedding.

Since 2018, Bryan J Agnew has been a member of Netflix’s Business Affairs team. According to his LinkedIn page, the Los Angeles native previously worked as an assistant for United Talent Agency. Before entering the entertainment industry, Agnew worked as a bartender for Hospitality Unlimited Inc. and The Fat Dog for ten months.
His first job postings were for a service expert at Talking Rain Beverage in Preston, Washington, and an Insight Global recruiter (Bellevue). He attended Bellevue College and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.), Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies degree after graduating from Kentwood High School. He then went on to earn an LLB from the University of Washington.
Bryan first met Brittany Cherry through their mutual friend Stefano Langone. The latter was Agnew’s roommate on DWTS (2017) and a band member during Cherry’s choreography. Although Cherry and Agnew did not initially click, they later reunited and fell in love. Agnew proposed to the dancer in 2020 “during a trip through Malibu Canyon,” according to People.

Brittany Cherry has appeared on DWTS, SYTYCD, and Shakira-Nick Jonas’ Come Dance With Me, among other shows. She was also a dancer in Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud music video. During her wedding, she explained to People magazine why the couple chose to wear simple clothing on their big day:
“I’m a ballroom dancer, and I’ve spent my entire life dressed in these beautiful gowns and outfits.” I wanted something classic, lovely, tasteful, and not overly decorated. I came across a stunning outfit and thought to myself, ‘Oh, this is great, but I’m just not sure.'”
She went on to say:
“So I go live my life — fast forward to when I’m really dress shopping and I go to four different stores and I see this identical dress at a number of shops and I’m like, ‘Oh it’s so gorgeous,'” says the woman. I go back to Kinsey James [in West Hollywood] and try on every outfit that comes to mind. “I kept thinking, ‘Ah, that dress is so lovely,’ so I went with the dress I found a year ago.”
