Daniel Craig Has Stated That He Has No Regrets Regarding His Defiant Tattoo

Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig, the James Bond hero, does not regret getting a tattoo on a wimp during his rebellious youth, unlike many other folks. Craig has two condor tattoos, one on his right shoulder and the other on the inside of his right calf. However, during a 2009 appearance on The Tonight Show, he disclosed to host Jay Leno that he had a previously unknown tattoo.

“I have a small number of visible tattoos. There is another circumstance in which you should not.” It is concealed,” he remarked. Leno then asked if it was the type that extended to “Oklahoma,” to which he received the response “OK.”

Craig answered, “Yes, it says ‘Welcome to Oklahoma.'” The actor confessed that he got it when he was 16 or 17 as a rebellious act. He continued by saying that make-up professionals had a terrible time with them because they were continuously covered.

However, did he have any regrets about getting the tattoo? “I have no regrets. You absolutely cannot. “ “It’s a personal matter,” remarked the actor.

Daniel Craig Talks About His New Tattoo

Since the interview, Craig has added a few more pieces to his collection. In a 2012 interview with GQ, he discussed his new tattoos in detail. According to the article, the actor has tattoos on his arms that may or may not be related to his wife, Rachel Weisz.

Craig admitted that the drawings were extremely intimate to him, but the body ink was not shown. “Both tattoos are pretty personal.” Yes, [when asked if his tattoos were new], he replied. They are merely a component of the procedure.

What about my other physical parts? Then you would be intrigued. Oh boy. The actor stated, “It’s been a rather trying couple of years.” Despite being frequently shot, Craig’s tattoo was difficult to identify because it was located on his inner biceps.

However, film critic Guy Lodge disclosed in 2020 that the actor has “a time for timelessness” and a lowercase ‘e’ tattooed on his right and left arms, respectively. Most likely, the body ink is a homage to a famous line by poet E. E. Cummings.

Daniel Craig Dons Costume for a Film Role

Whatever the significance of Craig’s body art was, it was clear that it had a particular significance for him. Nonetheless, the actor may utilize body art to transform his parts.

In 2016, the actor made headlines for his role as convicted explosives expert Joe Blank in Logan Lucky by Steven Soderbergh. Craig sported a buzz cut with fake tattoos on his arms, hands, and fingers.

Additionally, a few protruded from his shirt around his neck. Channing Tatum, his co-star, was stunned by the transformation, as he admitted in an interview with Good Morning Britain.

“I remember my first day playing on set with him and meeting him relatively quickly in the make-up trailer; I saw what he was going to do with his hair, and I was like, ‘Oh, okay, that’s different…'” Alright,'” Tatum said.
