In a statement to Deadline, Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry Potter, said that Robbie was one of the funniest individuals he had ever met. “Robbie used to keep us laughing nonstop as kids on the set and was one of the funniest individuals I’ve ever met.
In “Prisoner of Azkaban,” when we were all hiding from the pouring rain for hours in Hagrid’s hut, he did a very good job of keeping our spirits high by telling jokes and telling stories.
I consider myself tremendously fortunate to have met and worked with him, and I’m devastated by his passing. He was a wonderful man and a fantastic actor, according to his obituary. He and Coltrane appeared onscreen together in each of the eight Harry Potter films, it should be emphasized.
