Danuel House is an American basketball player who now plays for the NBA’s Utah Jazz.

Danuel Kennedy House Jr. was born on June 7, 1993, to Danuel House Sr. and Lisa House.

House was born in Texas and attended Missouri City’s Hightower High School as a child. He began playing basketball with his classmates and quickly advanced. Furthermore, he excelled in his studies.

Even as a young trainee, his coaches were thrilled with his playing abilities and gave him extra playing time. In exchange, he performed admirably for the team. In his junior year, he averaged 13.9 points, 1.1 blocks, and 5.4 rebounds per game.

House became a lot better player and increased his stats as he advanced to his senior year. As a senior, he averaged 26.0 points, 2.1 assists, and 6.2 rebounds per game.

House helped Hightower end the season with a 29-9 record that year, and he was named one of the top players by sports media outlets such as ESPNU 100 and Scout.com.

House had a happy upbringing in Fourth Ward with his parents and four other siblings. Jerrel, Terrel, and Daniel III are his three brothers.

Danuel House chose to play college basketball at the University of Houston. The organization showed faith in him from the outset, allowing him to start 27 of the squad’s 33 games in his rookie year.

In his first year, he averaged 12.4 points per game, proving his team’s management correct. In his sophomore season, he averaged 19.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.

House became Cougar’s leading scorer, however, he had to quit the team due to personal issues shortly after the second year.

However, he quickly began attending Texas A&M University to pursue his NCAA basketball career. Except for three games in his junior year, he appeared in every first-year game for the Aggies.

That season, the Aggies and Kentucky shared the SEC Championship. Furthermore, House averaged 17.0 points per game throughout the tournament, earning him a spot on the second-team All-SEC.

Washington Wizards Professional Career

Danuel House entered the 2016 NBA Draft after being regarded as one of the country’s top young prospects during his college career. Regrettably, he was not drafted.

Following this sad incident, on September 23, 2016, he signed a deal with the Washington Wizards for the NBA Summer League.

Danuel made his Wizards debut on November 11, 2016, against the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, he was forced to leave the court soon after due to a wrist injury, and it took him a long time to recuperate.

He only appeared in one game for the Wizards before being dismissed on March 1, 2017. In the meantime, he was a member of the NBA Development League’s Delaware 87ers.

The Phoenix Suns

House briefly joined the Rio Grande Valley Vipers after being dropped by the Wizards in October. He played with the Vipers in November, averaging 17.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.

On December 8, 2017, the Phoenix Suns signed House to a two-way contract. He began his career with the Phoenix Suns and the Northern Arizona Suns in the NBA G League.

On December 9, he made his Suns debut against the San Antonio Spurs, scoring two points and grabbing one rebound. House remained with both Suns until June of 2018.

He renewed his contract on February 23rd, when his previous two-year contract expired. In the 2017-18 season, he averaged 6.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.

Rockets of Houston

House signed a two-way contract with the Houston Rockets on December 6, 2018. He formerly played in the NBA G League for their affiliate club, the Vipers. However, he had been released by the team only two days before.

After joining the Rockets, he was sent back to the Vipers. House was a standout performer in the NBA G League that season.

The Rockets were so impressed with his play that they signed him to a standard NBA deal the following season. Following Chris Paul’s injury on March 15, the forward returned to the lineup against his former team, the Suns. He had a season-high 18 points in just 35 minutes of action.

On June 30, he signed a three-year contract extension with the club that will keep him there until December 18, 2021. Meanwhile, House was suspended for two games for violating Covid-19 standards.

To make matters worse, he was additionally charged with bringing an unknown female guest into his hotel room.

Following the event, he was unable to attend the rest of the 2019-20 season.

Beginning January 28, the athlete will be on his third 10-day deal with the Utah Jazz.

Danuel and Whitney’s wedding date is unknown. The couple does, however, have three children together. Their eldest child, Ava, was born in 2015, when House had yet to begin his professional career.

Danuel IV, their eldest son, was born in 2017. They had their third child roughly two years after DAnuel IV was born. In honor of Tom Brady, the NFL star, he was given the name Brady House. Both husband and wife are ardent football lovers.

Their relationship was blissful until the athlete became embroiled in a scandal involving an uninvited woman in September 2020. The footballer was accused of luring her into his hotel room for several hours, and he was fined as a result.

This, predictably, ended his relationship with his wife, Whitney. She erased his images from her social media sites after the incident.
