Born on February 12, 1982, Staff Sergeant Nathan Joseph Villagomez Paet grew up in the US island of Guam.

Michelle and Nathan were married in 2002 and went on to have three more kids. Soon after graduation, Nathan and his family were sent to Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska.

As Michelle Paet apologized and showed sorrow for her acts during her 2016 sentencing, she started crying. She said, recognizing her serious error in her speech,
“I regret my horrible choice and grave mistake. My deepest want and prayer is that one day they will all be able to forgive me completely.
