David Fifita Career
Fifita was a member of the Wests Tigers NYC squad in 2009. He and his brother both played for Tonga in 2010. In 2011, he played in the New South Wales Cup for the Balmain Ryde-Eastwood Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. He joined the Lézignan Sangliers in the Elite One Championship at the end of 2012. He garnered the attention of two NRL clubs, the Melbourne Storm and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, after ending his season with Lézignan in June 2013.
The Sharks, where his twin brother Andrew played in the 2013 NRL season, finally signed him for the rest of the season. He re-signed with the Sharks for 2014 after appearing in six games for them in the NSW Cup. Fifita was a part of the 2013 NSW Cup champions, who defeated Windsor Wolves in the final 38-6.
