He is a respected and influential evangelist whose teachings and messages have impacted many lives.
He has written numerous publications and spoken at numerous events across the nation. The pastor’s efforts have earned him notoriety and a sizeable following.
Dr. David Jeremiah fell during a Caribbean conference cruise in January 2023. Consequently, he canceled all of his speaking engagements.
Concerned as to whether or not he has entirely recovered, the pastor’s adherents wonder if he is on the mend. Thus, the focus of today’s article is his medical history and current health condition.

In 1994 and 1998, renowned Christian author and speaker Dr. David Jeremiah was diagnosed with lymphoma.
In 1994, he was first diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. The clinic sent him back to this La Jolla hospital to provide me with care.
On that first day, as he was leaving for the clinic, I met oncologist Dr. Alan Saven, and he has been the one to examine me twice a year for many years.
Lymphoma is a form of malignancy that affects the immune system’s lymphatic system. The Christian author had a cervical lump/mass. It was removed surgically.
In an interview, the pastor stated that Dr. Saven and Dr. Charles Mason, who oversaw his stem cell transplant, ultimately cured him of his disease and granted him his back.
In 1999, the pastor received stem cell therapy. He miraculously survived the hazardous conditions and recovered completely.
The Christian author penned a book titled “When Your World Falls Apart,” which details his experiences during this period.
In 2020, Dr. Jeremiah recounted his cancer and consolation tale on a podcast with Dr. James Dobson.
Dr. David Jeremiah’s 2023 Health Update
Dr. Jeremiah sustained an accident while attending a conference in the Caribbean in January 2023. Initially, he believed he had fully recovered, but later he required surgery to rectify some lingering effects of his injury.
The pastor was advised by his doctors to take the remainder of April off and to cancel any vacation arrangements so that he could resume his regular schedule.
On Easter, he planned to preach only at his local church and not travel until May. All of Dr. Jeremiah’s April performances were canceled, including “Singing In The Sun” in Myrtle Beach.
Abraham Productions was regretful that Dr. Jeremiah was unable to attend “Singing In The Sun” and wished him a rapid and complete recovery.
Dr. Ralph Sexton preached during Dr. Jeremiah’s scheduled hours at “Singing In The Sun” in place of Dr. Jeremiah.
Dr. Ralph Sexton, who had just returned from working with refugees in Israel, Poland, and the border of Ukraine, provided insightful commentary on the prophetic text.
As of this writing, there is no new information regarding Dr. David’s current health status. The pastor has hopefully recovered and is in excellent health.
