Update on David mabuza’s Health and Illness
A source claims that David Mabuza’s ailment is unrelated to his decision to leave the parliament because of his excellent health. The politician has, however, previously admitted to being unwell for a month and expressed his gratitude for still being alive.
Sowetanlive claims that Mabuza became very unwell and that it was revealed that, by the medical records, he had been poisoned while on duty. In an interview, David said that he let his guard down when he accepted food from unidentified sources during his birthday festivities in Bushbuckridge in August. Mpumalanga’s ANC chief said he almost died and was unable to move or stand.
After he was sent to Life Little Company of Mary Hospital in Pretoria, medical professionals finally made a diagnosis. Mabuza then started getting care from his Pretoria physicians, who helped to slowly remove the poison from his body.
Records show that the politician still suffers from the effects of poison and is unable to stand for an extended amount of time. Every day after work, he receives intense therapy that keeps him pain-free.
Later, David made headlines once again when he claimed that the South African government had not provided any funding for his medical care and that he had paid for his hospitalization in Russia. Mabuza’s journey to Russia for medical treatment has long been a source of controversy due to his present health problems.
David Mabuza’s resignation: Why?
Despite popular belief, David Mabuza’s sickness was not the primary factor in his decision to leave the parliament. David Mabuza, the deputy president, withdrew his name from consideration for the National Assembly on Tuesday, according to DailyMaverick.
At the beginning of the month, the departing deputy president announced his departure. At his brother’s funeral in Mpumalanga, Mabuza said he wanted to make a place for newly elected ANC vice president Paul Mashatile.
Mabuza will resign from his position after all preparations for it had been done, according to Vincent Magwenya, a spokesperson for President Cyril Ramaphosa. The delays surrounding the Cabinet change led to rumors that Ramaphosa’s close friends were preventing Mashatile from progressing. The ANC’s secretary-general, Fikile Mbalula, has stated that there is nothing wrong with the way the reshuffle was handled.
On behalf of the South African government and people, Vice President Mabuza has received a message of thanks and appreciation from President Ramaphosa for his exceptional service to the country over the last five years.
Mabuze got his start in politics while still a student via the Black Consciousness movement and then through teachers’ unions. Mabuze is a native of rural Mpumalanga and a certified teacher.
From 1988 until 1991, David served as head of the South African Democratic Teachers Union, a key branch of the Congress of South African Trade Unions. Following the end of apartheid in 1994, Mabuza was elected as an ANC delegate to the Mpumalanga provincial legislature.
