The next year, he appeared in a match as a substitution for another player, KJ Costello, and continued to do so in the 2019 season. He appeared in six games that season, setting a record of 504 throwing yards against Washington State, and finished the season with 1960 yards and 11 touchdowns.

He played his final season as a collegiate athlete in 2020, but the season was cut short due to a pandemic. He was only able to play in five games as the team’s quarterback, finishing the season with 129 passes and 1508 yards. He began his professional career in 2021 after being picked by the Houston Texans. He made his debut against the Cleveland Browns, replacing Tyrod Taylor in the second half due to injury. He received a lot of accolades for his performance, and it was just announced that he would start the third game of the 2021 NFL season. Fans couldn’t get enough of him after he made his debut against the Carolina Panthers.
