Deanna Favre met her future husband Brett Favre in 1983 while growing up in Kiln. Furthermore, the couple went to the same high school and started dating when they were still in high school. She became pregnant at the age of 19 and gave birth to her first daughter, Brittany Nicole Favre, on February 6, 1989.
She and her daughter then moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she met and married Brett. Favre and her husband later married on July 14, 1996, at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay. She then gave birth to her younger daughter, Breleigh Favre, on July 13, 1999.

Deanna Favre began her professional career by selling pink Green Bay Packers hats to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer in 2005. Furthermore, her Green Bay Packers caps outsold regular Packers hats throughout the first half of 2005. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2004, she began fighting for breast cancer awareness. Despite the distressing news, her family and friends remained hopeful and supported her during her rehabilitation.
She also underwent five months of chemotherapy and was successful in her battle with breast cancer. She also received emails from women all throughout the country telling her how hearing her story prompted them to evaluate their own health. Following her recovery, she became an activist to raise breast cancer awareness.
After earning donations, she went one step further and established her own charity, The Deanna Favre Hope Foundation. In addition, she is the current CEO of The Deanna Favre Hope Foundation. Her organization raises awareness about breast cancer while also aiding others who are coping with the same problem. She is also the executive director of the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation, her husband’s charity. Her husband’s foundation also assisted disabled and impoverished children in Mississippi and Wisconsin, raising more than $3 million.
Aside from being an activist, she has also published two books about her experience with breast cancer. “Don’t Bet Against Me Beating the Odds Against Breast Cancer and in Life,” her first autobiography, was published by Tyndale House Publishers in October 2007. Later, she co-wrote her second book, “The Cure of the Chronic Life: Overcoming the Hopelessness That Holds You Back,” with Shane Stanford.
