On April 7, 2023, a gunshot killed Brianna Destiny McKoy in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On Thursday, the 23-year-old’s apartment was discovered to be empty and dead.

Derrick Francis, the boyfriend of Brianna Destiny McKoy, is the main person of interest in her passing. The Bridgeport Police are searching for 41-year-old Francis.
At the time of the crime, the victim and the suspect, according to reports, were dating. The couple’s relationship didn’t start exactly when they met, though.
It has come to light that McKoy resided with her children. However, it is unclear with whom she had children.
The authorities have also asked for assistance, information, suggestions, or other leads that will help them find the perpetrator.
Investigators working on the homicide investigation have also displayed posters for Derrick Francis, warning that the man is armed and dangerous.
Additionally, the manner of the murder remains a mystery.
The investigation into the events leading up to the shooting and the circumstances surrounding McKoy’s death is still ongoing.
According to Connecticut police, the 23-year-old woman was discovered dead at her home, 333 Vincellette Street in Coachlight Square condominiums, where she lived with her two children, at around 11:20 a.m.
Police captain Kevin Gilleran confirmed that the man had been shot several times. The victim had already passed away by the time the cops arrived. As a result, they were unable to offer urgent aid.
