Dray has had an interest in the game since he was a child and now has NFL-caliber talents. Devin Devorris Hester Sr. is a retired American football player who spent 11 seasons in the NFL with the Bears, Falcons, Ravens, and Seahawks. Hester was the Chicago Bears’ second-round (57th overall) pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.

He was drafted the same year as notable NFL players Reggie Bush, Antonio Cromartie, Mario Williams, Vince Young, and Jay Cutler. He was selected as a cornerback, but he flourished as a kick returner and then as a wide receiver. The return specialist is the only player to score a touchdown on the Super Bowl’s initial kickoff.

Devin is recognised as one of the NFL’s top return specialists, having led the league in punt return yards twice (2006 and 2010) and kickoff return yards twice (2013 and 2014). According to Spotrac, the Miami Hurricanes alum earned $29.266 million throughout his NFL career.

Devin Hester Jr.’s Age and Wikipedia: How Old is Devin Hester’s Son?

Devin Hester Jr., Hester’s eldest son, continues his father’s history and aspires to be a well-known football player. He was born on November 9, 2009. He will be fifteen years old in 2024. When it comes to his football ability, his age is just a number, thanks to his former professional player father, who trains him.

Unlike his NFL great father, he does not yet have a Wikipedia page, but his strong performances and probable future NFL career could lead to one. Hester posts on Instagram under the username @speed_demon752 and goes by the name DJ. Devin and Zingha Hester (née Walcott) have three children, the eldest of whom is him. His younger brother (second-born), Dray Hester, also known as Ankle Bully, was born on August 30, 2012 and is now 11 years old.

The youngest, Denali Hester, was born on March 10, 2018, and will turn five in 2024. Devin Jr. is about three years younger than Dray and eight years younger than Denali. He frequently posts images of his younger brothers and parents on Instagram.

Devin Hester Jr. Committed to Furman Paladins

Devin Hester Jr., a 2024 Cedar Shoals High School student from Athens, Georgia, has committed to the Furman University football programme. He wears the number 19 jersey and plays wide receiver there. He also participates in varsity basketball and baseball, but football is his favourite sport.

Devin, who is 5 feet 10 inches (1.77 metres) and weighs 165 pounds, verbally committed to Furman University on June 22, 2023. After six months, he signed a letter of intent to play college football for the Furman Paladins on December 20, 2023. He chose Furman over Wake Forest, Dartmouth, Kent State, Liberty, Appalachian State, Eastern Michigan, and Georgia Southern.

Devin Jr., unlike many NFL players’ children who become interested in football at a young age, never anticipated developing a passion for the sport. Instead, he participated in high school track and field competitions. He competed at the Loch Johnson Invitational, the GHSA 4A State Championships, and the North Oconee FAT All-Comers Meet.

As a youngster, he ran 11.07 at 100 metres and jumped 20-9.5 metres. Earlier in interviews, the former Atlanta Falcons star stated that his eldest child, Devin Jr., was uninterested in football, but his second son, Dray, was.

He also expressed his appreciation for his son’s chosen professional route, whatever that may be. In September 2023, he shared on Instagram that his son, Devin, approached him and begged to play football, and in his first game, he got two sacks and four tackles.
