Fortunately, the two kids were unharmed, and Dharmesh and the wife only suffered minor wounds.

According to California authorities, Dharmesh Patel, a resident of Pasadena, has been detained for attempted murder and child abuse.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), Patel, a woman, and two kids were driving a Tesla.
Whether or not the Tesla was in autopilot mode needs to be made clear. But the accident’s circumstances suggested that Dharmesh intentionally steered the automobile off a cliff.
At The Devil’s Slide, a hazardous location on a seaside route, the car overturned. No names have been released for the woman or the two children.
Also unknown is the woman’s and the children’s relationship to Dharmesh. The accident’s nature and origin are yet unknown.
The other passengers in the car, according to the charging documents, were a 41-year-old lady and two kids, a boy and girl, both under the age of four.
CHP investigators conducted witness interviews and sought to collect data from the incident. According to the preliminary inquiry, an intentional act was the incident’s most likely cause.
Indian-born Dharmesh Patel currently resides in Pasadena, California. He was taken into custody at 9 p.m. on January 2 and did not object.

After being discharged from the hospital, he will be sent to the San Mateo County Jail where he has been booked for attempted murder and child abuse.
On January 3, the California Highway Patrol declared that Patel was being detained but would first receive medical attention.
Once his condition is stable, Patel, who was hurt in the 250-foot fall, will be put behind bars.
