Dianne Feinstein is of Jewish origin and practices Judaism. Despite their German-Jewish background, they practiced Russian Orthodox (Christian) religion, as were all Jews in Saint Petersburg. Despite the fact that Feinstein’s faith is identified as Judaism, her mother campaigned for her transfer from a Jewish day school to a prestigious local Catholic school.
