Chad Michael Murray allegedly cheated on ex-wife Sophia Bush with his “House of Wax” co-star Paris Hilton in 2006, an allegation that has yet to be proven.
Murray was allegedly implicated in ex-girlfriend Hilton’s alleged adultery, according to Nick Carter on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM morning radio show (via TMZ).
The actor was still married to Bush at the time. He only revealed this after admitting to sleeping with Ashlee Simpson in retaliation for the “Simple Life” star’s alleged actions.
With these allegations out in the open, TMZ attempted to interview Bush one night in 2007, asking if Hilton deserved her 45-day prison sentence for violating her probation.
Bush remained calm, simply laughing off the question. Meanwhile, her friends cheerily followed her into a black SUV and exclaimed, “She did!” Bush may have heard her pals say before they went, “If you don’t have anything pleasant to say, don’t say anything at all.”
Murray, for his part, never addressed the claims of cheating publicly. He did acknowledge his past fast lifestyle around the time of the alleged adultery in a 2011 interview with E! News.
“I was a youngster,” he said, emphasizing that he has since changed his ways. “And I think I just didn’t see things as clearly as I should have.” … When you’re young and thrown into something you’re not prepared for, you make mistakes.”
