Frank Reich’s Career

He went on to play NCAA football at the University of Maryland as a backup quarterback to future NFL great Boomer Esiason after graduating from Cedar Crest High School. Despite being with the Bills for over a decade, he didn’t participate in a game until 1989, when starting quarterback Jim Kelly was sidelined with a shoulder ailment.
