Their admirers shipped the YouTube phenomenon and actress Cho after they played each other’s love interests in Higa’s short film “Agents of Secret Stuff” in 2010.
Higa, on the other hand, ultimately admitted to the actress in March 2019 that he had been dating her for nearly four years. In the video titled “Revealing My Not-So-Secret GF,” the YouTuber explained that the couple never meant to keep their relationship a secret, but were delayed in making a public statement.
Higa started the video by apologizing to supporters for not posting anything the week before. The YouTube sensation explained that the missing video was due to a Valentine’s Day trip to Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Cho.
In the video, Higa claimed that he fell in love with the actress during their second cooperation in 2015 and that they have been dating since.
Every wonderful thing must come to an end
The YouTube skit artist announced the couple’s split a year after revealing their romance. Higa revealed in a video titled “My Midlife Crisis” on March 15, 2020, that he had recently split up with his five-year girlfriend, actress Cho.
The YouTuber apologized to his viewers in the video for not keeping up with his work and revealed that one of the reasons was his breakup. Higa added that, while he isn’t the kind to discuss his relationships, many of his admirers guessed his split based on his social media posts.
And all he wanted to do was update his YouTube admirers. The YouTuber said in the video that the separation was not nasty, but rather mutual.
Cheating allegations
Cho reportedly posted a mysterious statement on her Instagram account following Higa’s video post, hinting that the YouTuber cheated on her during their relationship.
Cho mentioned that she was working on another sorrowful song in her series of stories. The following are the lyrics she posted in her story:
I loathe you and all your deceptions. I wish I could go back in time / to a happier time before I named you mine. Many of Cho’s fans felt the song was dedicated to Ryan. The YouTuber promptly dispelled the claims, admitting in a Tweet that he did not cheat on Cho.
