On Friday, November 18, 2022, the romantic comedy musical will be released on the popular streaming service platform Disney +. The new movie will air at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. The sequel to Enchanted takes place 15 years after Giselle and Robert Philip’s marriage. In the film, the two are seen driving from Manhattan to the Monroeville suburbs with their teenage daughter Morgan. They moved to the peaceful suburban town due to Giselle’s growing dissatisfaction with their life in the city.

The official description for the film, published by Disney Plus alongside the official trailer, reads:

“It’s been almost ten years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) married, but Giselle has grown dissatisfied with city life, so they relocate their growing family to the tranquil suburban village of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale living.”

It continues:

“However, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has its own rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel even more out of place.”

She is dissatisfied, according to the story, because finding her happily ever after proved difficult. As a result, she “relies on Andalasia’s magic for assistance.” However, she unintentionally transforms their entire village into a “real-life fairy tale,” jeopardizing the happiness of her family. It goes on to say:

“Now, Giselle is racing against time to break the spell and discover what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.”

Giselle and her family will undoubtedly struggle as they adjust to their new suburban environment and magic.
