The terrible news of Fullmer’s passing was initially announced by the Walt Disney Animation Studios, which said that he passed away after a protracted fight with cancer.
But more information about his condition and fight with cancer has not been released. The entertainment business lost a fantastic member with his departure.
Fullmer worked in the Disney animation studio for almost 20 years, gaining experience as an effects animator. As an effect animator on Oliver & Company and The Little Mermaid, Randy Fullmer is most known for his work.
Randy served as the artistic coordinator for “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and the effects supervisor for the well-known film “The Rescuers Down Under.”
He also worked as a producer on Chicken Little and The Emperor’s New Groove. Fullmer worked as the artistic coordinator for The Lion King in 1994 and as a VFX supervisor for Beauty and the Beast in 1991.

Don Hahn continued, describing the late animator as a gifted painter and sketch artist. Randy, according to Hahn, had the heart of a craftsman and the mind of an engineer.
He was a master animator as well as a film producer. The Disney animation renaissance has him at its center. I miss him, but every day I sense his joy and excitement. I always will,” Don Hahn continued.
Fullmer Randy Saluted from the Washington town of Richland
In Richland, Washington, on April 27, 1950, Randy Fullmer was born into a family of farmers. He attended and graduated from Washington State University in 1970.
It has been stated that the deceased animator enrolled in film lessons during his second year at the school. He has been hooked on animation ever since. In the end, the course introduced him to CalArts’ Toon program.
In 1987, Fullmer started working at Walt Disney Feature Animation. He signed a three-month contract to animate Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
He owned his own animation company and created educational, scientific, and medical clips in the early years of his work.
After retiring from animation in 2006, he started Wyn Guitars, a bespoke bass guitar business, because he had always been fascinated by the instrument.
Randy built hundreds of custom basses for musicians of note, including as Jimmy Haslip and Jermaine Jackson.
His influence on the music industry was shown in the documentary Restrung.
