At the beginning of her career, Moussa modeled on Russian runways. By 2004, she was working as a photo editor for the Maxim magazine’s Russian version.
As the main editor of the U.K. edition, Gutfeld joined the Maxim Company. Gutfeld and Moussa first met at a Maxim-hosted event.

After a little more than five months of official dating, Gutfeld and Moussa were married in the latter part of 2004.
