Debbie Osmond and Donny Osmond have been married for over four decades. Debbie first met Osmond when she was 15 years old. Before they began dating, she dated his older brother, Jay.
Despite the odds, Osmond married his muse at the Salt Lake Utah Temple on May 8, 1978, after “three years of trying to win her heart and convince her to marry me.” In 1976, Osmond organized a treasure hunt in an attempt to capture her love, as he disclosed to Utah Valley 360 in 2016.

Debbie was being elusive, so Osmond devised a magnificent scheme for their first kiss. He drove her to Sundance Mountain Resort for dinner in a limousine. After supper, he accompanied her on a treasure hunt for gifts.
She began her search by inspecting each restaurant seat individually. Eventually, she was compelled to stop at a telephone booth and a McDonald’s.
There were hints at each site, and she soon found herself in front of Osmond, the final spot containing a clue. She would obtain her final clue if she kissed Osmond, according to the clue.
Let me tell you, there were fireworks! As he recalled their first kiss, Osmond said. After she had kissed him, Osmond reminded her that her gifts had always been on her bed.
When the pair returned to her room, a framed portrait of them at Sundance was there, and their relationship had blossomed.
According to Osmond, the photograph depicts that night and the beginning of their love. Even 40 years later, in 2016, on her 57th birthday, he and his wife recreated the shot.

The couple wed in May 1978, and on July 31, 1979, Donald Clark was born as their first child. On June 8, 1981, Debbie gave birth to Jeremy James, increasing their family.
In the subsequent four years, Osmond and Debbie had three more sons: Brandon Michael (born January 29, 1985), Christopher Glenn (born December 12, 1990), and Joshua Davis (born February 16, 1998). Despite the celebrity status of the singer, the couple kept their children out of the spotlight.
When speaking with Utah Valley 360, she disclosed their justifications. “We’ve agreed to keep Donny’s work and personal life separate. We did not want our children to grow up surrounded by the entertainment industry in Hollywood.
The children of Osmond have formed their own families. On August 21, 2005, he became a grandfather for the first time when Dylan was born to his son Jeremy and his wife Melissa.
Since then, Osmond has had a great deal more grandchildren – precisely twelve. The musician has repeatedly shown his affection for his family and gushed about his grandchildren.
