She couldn’t understand, however, how talking could be turned into a career. In 1994, Dr. Viviana Coles attended the Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart. In the year 2000, she graduated from high school. She then enrolled at Southwestern University to study psychology.

Viviana earned a bachelor’s degree in science in 2003. She was a member of several societies in high school, including the Psychology Honor Society, the Sociology Honor Society, and the French Honor Society.

Viviana then attended Nova Southeastern University, where she earned her doctorate in 2003. She has a bachelor’s degree in marriage and family therapy. She also obtained a sex therapy license from the Florida Sex Therapy Institute.

Viviana also obtained her marriage and family therapist and supervisor license from the Texas MFT Board in 2007. It will be phased out in December 2022. She began her career in November of 2012 when she established Texas Sex Therapy Institute, PLLC.

In addition, in January of 2007, she acquired Texas Relationship Therapy PLLC. She was the company’s president for 14 years. Furthermore, Houston Relationship Therapy PLLC employed a president/lead psychotherapist who specialized in couples and sex therapy, premarital counseling, relationships, anxiety, depression, anger, and other human emotions.

In April of 2017, she also became a member of the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce.

In terms of her television career, she was hired as a relationship expert for the Lifetime TV network’s show Married at First Sight. She acted as an expert, attempting to perfectly match the couples based on her experience and expertise.

Dr. Vivian Coles and her husband, Bob, married in 2007. First, the couple welcomed their daughter after she finished her undergraduate studies. But when Viviana became pregnant with her son, she felt a strong desire to complete her Doctorate before he was born. So, at 7.5 months pregnant, she walked the Commencement stage in 2011.

On July 28, 2020, the couple will celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary. And Viviana’s husband has been the most supportive person in her life over the years. He let her juggle her job, her life on TV, and her life at home.
