Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green missed the previous two games because of a knee injury, but he received encouraging news on Monday. According to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr and ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, Green was able to practice after an MRI indicated no issues. His condition is now classified as doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Golden State defeated the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves without Green, but it will likely need him to be healthy and available if it wants to make a late run and compete with the top teams in the playoffs.
Stephen Curry is also out with a leg injury, which significantly weakens the team’s ranks. The hooper previously had to sit out due to calf tightness brought on by a lower back disc issue.
