How did Duke Dumont start his Professional Career?

For Club Play Only Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, two EPs by Dumont that were released in 2012 on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings, were played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra, respectively, by Annie Mac, Fearne Cotton, and Trevor Nelson.

The following year, he released the single “Need U (100%)”. This tune features A*M*E, a British singer of Sierra Leonean descent. In addition to the UK, the recording has also topped the rankings in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The August 2014 release by Dumont, “Won’t Look Back,” peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. In February 2015, I Got U was nominated for “Best Dance Recording” at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. At the end of July 2015, he published “Ocean Drive” from the EP Blasé Boys Club Pt. 1.
