Durel

The most recent singing sensation to triumph in “The Voice Kids'” ninth season is Durel. Discover his musical roots and never-ending enthusiasm by learning about his parents, Durel Origine, and his astounding ascent to fame.

Through the competition, he was able to draw in both the judges and the audience with his impressive vocal abilities and performances. Durel’s final performance of “La Bohême” by Charles Aznavour was particularly devastating and emotionally engrossing, which helped him win the competition.

Together with Chimène Badi, he sang Édith Piaf’s “L’hymne à l’amour.” His teachers Slimane and Chimène Badi praised Durel’s distinct voice, integrity, and interpretive skills. Slimane remarked that Durel’s performances reminded him of why he and other musicians do what they do.

In addition, a large social media trend supported Durel’s victory. Many tweets throughout the evening praised his extraordinary talent and performances, and some people predicted a bright future for him regardless of the outcome of the contest.

Durel Parent’s Origin and Musical Roots

The young winner, Durel, has always had a passion for performing and singing. He started singing and participating in concerts when he was about 5 or 6. Brunoy, located in the Essonne department of France’s Île-de-France region, is where Durel Origine’s parents are from.

He focused on singing during the COVID pandemic when other outside activities were limited because of the lockdown. His mother, Guychelle, encouraged his musical abilities and even made arrangements for him to take online singing lessons.

According to Guychelle, Durel’s mother, Durel’s involvement in acting was made possible by a creative group that helps eager young actors get roles. However, his mother, Guychelle, has always been there for him, even though there isn’t much information about his father online. Guychelle stated in a piece,

When Durel was young, he would dance in front of the TV to impress his family, so I knew he was special even then. His career began when I signed him up with this amazing talent agency because I didn’t want his potential to go to waste.

Life Before the Camera: Childhood Affection for The Voice Kids

Durel tried out for “The Voice Kids” two years prior but was rejected. Durel was chosen to perform on stage in productions including “Les mystérieuses cités d’or” at Paris’ Théâtre des Variétés before making an appearance on “The Voice Kids.” He also worked with rapper Kaaris on Netflix’s “Le roi des ombres,” another production he was involved in.

In addition, he and Norman Reedus co-starred in a ‘The Walking Dead’ spin-off. Durel went through a typical adolescent phenomenon over the season: his voice started to change (becoming muffled). He had considerable issues with this transition, especially when it came to singing high notes during his performances.

His voice changed between the first filming of the show’s early episodes, the semi-final recording in January, and the live finale. Durel is still your regular adolescent despite winning “The Voice Kids.” He will go back to school the following week after the conclusion.

He jokingly said that because the songs from the competition took up so much of his mind, he skipped his lessons. Any parent would be happy to see their child succeed, but the Durel Origine parents were ecstatic when their child took first place in the prestigious tournament.
