Dwight Stone was born on January 28, 1964. He and his wife Jennie Stone have three daughters. His three daughters’ names all begin with “C”: Ciara (eldest), Cailin, and Celena (youngest). Even if his children were born with athletic DNA, they preferred the arts to professional sports.
Stone’s children are of mixed race because his wife is white American and he is of African-American ancestry. Ciara, the oldest daughter, was born in 2000 and works as a graphic designer in Florida. In 2022, she graduated from East Carolina University with a BFA in Graphic Design.
Cailin, the second child, graduated from Cuthbertson High School in 2020. She then attended North Carolina State University’s Wilson College of Textiles, where she studied Fashion and Textile Management. Her LinkedIn profile states that she works as a part-time season sales associate at Athleta. Celena, the newest member of the group, attends Cuthbertson High School (class of 2024). Her high school’s varsity girls’ lacrosse team includes her. Dwight’s daughters are all active on Instagram.

Stone retired from the NFL in January 2001 after 14 seasons with the Steelers, Panthers, and Jets. He joined the CMPD (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department) as an SRO in April 2002 and served for 13 years and three months before retiring in June 2015.
Stone stated that the first thing he wanted to do after high school was join the US Army, followed by becoming a police officer. He appears to have completed one item on his bucket list.
When asked about his decision to become a police officer during a Q&A session with Panthers.com in 2017, he stated,
“I wanted to become a police officer to give back to my community.” Because my first coach in every sport I ever played was a cop.”
Dwight now works as a volunteer. He is involved in the youth ministry at First Baptist Church of Weddington, N.C., the Crisis Pregnancy Center in Monroe, and Florala High School, from which he graduated.
Jennie, on the other hand, works as a physical therapist at Core Studio Pilates. She previously worked for CarolinasPhysical Therapy Associates (1995-99), Total Care Home Health Agency (2004-05), and Union Regional Home Care (2007-12).
