Dylan McCarthy Death Investigation Update: Officers recently detained two men while investigating an incident in Monasterevin. They are currently charged with murder. So, what exactly happened? In late 2022, there was a death case that swept the Internet. Dylan McCarthy was the victim who died in that incident.
Dylan was only 29 years old at the time. He was killed in a street brawl sparked by a heated argument. The late victim exchanged words with the assailants in a pub, and then he and his father, Eamon McCarthy, were attacked by that group. The names of the two men arrested in Dylan McCarthy’s death case have been made public. Their current addresses are also revealed. Calvin Dunne and Sean Kavanagh are the names of the murderers. Dunne and Kavanagh are both in their twenties. Previously, all five suspects who were apprehended were in their twenties.
Dunne, in particular, is 23 years old, and Kavanagh is 24 years old. According to the Irish Mirror, both live in Monasterevin, the location of the murder. Dunne’s address is given as Abbey View in Monasterevin, while Kavanagh’s is given as St Mary’s Lane in Monasterevin.
Furthermore, the outlet stated that Dunne and Kavanagh were charged with a crime other than Dylan’s murder. Simply put, they were charged with violent disorder. According to Kildare Live, Det Gda Orla Higgins provided the evidence that led to the arrest of one of the two assailants, Sean Kavanagh.
