Dylan Tuomy Wilhoit, one of the Wilhoit family’s twins, is best known for his role as a child star in the American comedy ‘Full House,’ alongside his twin brother, Blake. From the sixth through the eight seasons of the show, the two brothers played Alexander “Alex” Katsopolis (Dylan) and Nicholas “Nicky” Katsopolis (Blake), the twin sons of Jesse and Becky Katsopolis, played by John Stamos and Lori Loughlin, respectively. Dylan won hearts as the more cheeky and frank Alex, while the two brothers lived on teasing viewers’ funny bones as the two characters who frequently repeat each other’s phrases.

However, with the success of ‘Full House,’ both Dylan and his brother retired from acting and resumed their normal lives. He eventually developed an interest in music and is now capable of playing a variety of instruments. He currently works as a Foley artist, and his credits include films such as ‘Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse’ and ‘Furious 7,’ as well as television shows such as ‘Black Sails’ and ‘Game of Thrones,’ for which he received an Emmy nomination. While children are known for their fun attitude and acting styles that they often replicate in their own unique ways depending on their mood of the day, Dylan and his twin brother, Blake, got an opportunity to demonstrate their talent when they were approximately two years old in the American sitcom ‘Full House.’ The popular sitcom, created by Jeff Franklin for ‘American Broadcasting Company,’ aired from September 22, 1987, to May 23, 1995, for eight seasons, with the twin brothers playing Alex (Dylan) and Nicky (Blake) in its final three seasons.

The twins captivated the audience at the tender age of two, winning millions of hearts with their amazing comedy timing, free flow acting, and dialogue delivery. The two’s hilarious and amazing performances nearly split the audience in half with laughter. However, despite their fame, Dylan and Blake stayed away from acting and went about their daily lives. Dylan attended ‘John Burroughs High School’ in Burbank, California, USA, where he graduated in 2009.

He grew to enjoy music over time. He can play a variety of instruments and has worked in the entertainment sector as a Foley artist, generating various everyday sound effects for films and other media. His early work was the open-world third-person shooter video game ‘Sunset Overdrive,’ which was developed by ‘Insomniac Games and launched in October 2014; the Tegan Shohet-directed 2014 short film ‘Bluffing,’ and the 2015 television movie ‘Point of Honor.’

In 2015, it was revealed that the Wilhoit brothers would reprise their roles from ‘Full House’ in the sequel ‘Fuller House.’ Dylan and Blake joined the series’ ensemble cast, which included the majority of the original ‘Full House’ actors, as Alex and Nicky, who had become fish taco truck operators after six years of college. The show debuted on February 26, 2016. During the filming of the series, Dylan posted a photo of his ‘Fuller House’ script on Instagram with the remark “What?” and an emoji.
