Eddie Griffin, a comedian, will co-host Angel’s upcoming program alongside Angel. Angel, who will aid celebrities in learning and practicing iconic acts so they can compete for the Golden Wand in the finale, will be the focus of the program.

Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars will mark his return to television screens following a hiatus. Only the contestants with the highest scores will return for the finals, which will feature two celebrities per week.

According to the description of the show:

“The celebrity contestants must master three major types of magic and perform them before a panel of judges lead by the magician Criss Angel. Only the celebrities with the highest marks are invited back to compete for the golden wand in the finale.”

The CW will premiere Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars on Saturday, October 22 at 8 p.m. ET.

The host of Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars is recognized as one of the greatest comedians of all time. In his stand-up routines, he is well-known for addressing important issues like African-American culture, politics, and sexuality.

For three consecutive years in high school, the comic, actor, and dancer were selected as Class Clown. Griffin created his own dance company in Kansas at the age of 16 before moving to Compton to live with his cousins.

Soon after returning home, he joined the U.S. Navy, but was discharged months later due to drug addiction issues.

The star of Malcolm and Eddie began his comedy career in 1989 and his acting career in the early 1990s with Brain Donors and Coneheads. Following his comic performance in Armageddon, he appeared in Duece Bigalow: Male Gigolo.

After that, he appeared in numerous films and television programs, including Double Take, The New Guy, Pinnochio, The Boondocks, and Awake. His comic and acting abilities have significantly contributed to his $4 million net worth.

Criss Angel, host of Magic with the Stars, married for the first time at age 16 and had a daughter from that union.

In 2002, he married Rochelle, his second wife, and in 2011, he wed Nia Rivers. Griffin married his fourth wife, Ko Lee Griffin, in 2017. In 2020, the couple welcomed a son into the world.

Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars will be divided into ten one-hour segments. Each episode will include two celebrities learning and performing three different types of magic in front of Criss Angel, Loni Love, and magician Lance Burton.

Brec Bassinger, Michael Ian Black, Corbin Bleu, Ginuwine, Miles Brown, Matt Walsh, and Frankie Muniz are due to appear on Magic with the Stars by Criss Angel.

The show will also feature Cynthia Bailey, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Flavor Flav, Debbie Gibson, Ginuwine, Omarion, Donny Osmond, Jeff Timmons, Randy Couture, Frank Mir, Vernon Davis, Lolo Jones, and Olympic figure skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski.
