Is Eddie Guerrero Married? Relationship
Eddie had been married to Vickie Guerrero for fifteen years when he died. They married in 1990 and have two beautiful daughters.
Many people are unaware that Eddie has one daughter from an extramarital affair. Eddie dated Tara Mahoney and had a daughter with her while Vickie and Eddie were separated. Vickie, on the other hand, looked after her stepdaughter.
Furthermore, nobody knew about Vickie until 2005, but after Eddie’s death, she was frequently featured in WWE.
Vickie’s “Excuse Me” became a worldwide hit, and fans began to appreciate her WWE appearances. Vickie had done a great job in her career, from being the general manager of SmackDown to fighting with Stephanie McMahon to the drama of being fired.
Vickie, on the other hand, was broken mentally and emotionally by Eddie’s death. Also, Vickie regrets not answering Eddie’s pst call because she was sleeping and thought she would call him later.
Aside from that, Eddie’s relationship with Chyna has been kept under wraps, but everyone knows it happened. It began with the gimmick, but rumors soon spread that Chyna and Eddie were seriously in love.
As a result, Chyna and Eddie’s love story is regarded as one of the best in WWE history. But, for some reason, they later separated, and soon after their real-life separation, they ended their fictional relationship.
How did Eddie Guerrero start his Professional Career?
Eddie struggled before making it big in WWE, and he took small baby steps until he reached greater heights of success. Guerrero’s journey began with CMLL as Mascara Magica. Everyone loved that gimmick for a short time. Eddie, however, was dissatisfied because CMLL was a small show, so he went to AAA.
Unfortunately, CMLL owned all of Magica’s rights, so he was relaunched in AAA as El Hijo del Santo’s tag team partner under the name The Atomic Pair.
Eddie was doing well from 1995 to 2000, but he wasn’t having the success he desired. Then, in 2000, he was allowed to join the WWF, and Eddie has never looked back since.
The First Days
Eddie was relaunched as The Radicalz, a negative character, by WWF in 2000. Eddie, on the other hand, dislocated his elbow in the first match, which was not a good start to his career.
However, as time passed, The Radicalz merged with Triple-H to form Heel Fiction. Chyna then betrayed Chris Jericho and assisted Eddie in winning the match. This friendship, however, did not last long after Chyna pinned Trish and won the Intercontinental Championship instead of Eddie.
Despite his cool demeanor at first, Eddie approached Raw Commissioner Mick Foley and requested to be a part of the Chyna-Kurt match. Chyna fell unconscious during the game, and Eddie attempted to wake her up but instead pinned her.
As a result, Eddie won his first WCW championship. Everything was fine until he was arrested for Eddie drinking and driving, at which point WWF released him. Guerrero joined the Independent circuit after being released from the WWF and even won the Mid-South Heavyweight Championship, but he vacated the title after one month and rejoined the WWF.
WWF/WWE
Eddie returned to WWF in April 2002 and won his first Intercontinental Championship after defeating Vam Dam. Guerrero then teamed up with Chris Benoite for some epic matches.
Eddie would enter the fancy dancing cars at the time and would frequently feud with Steve Austin, John Cena, JBL, Randy Orton, Triple H, and others. Nonetheless, Eddie was a very clever person; he would cheat and win some matches while the referee was unaware.
Furthermore, his match with Kennedy is regarded as one of the funniest in WWE. Eddie hit Kennedy with the chair while the referee was busy doing something else, but as soon as the referee turned around, Guerrero threw the chair at Kennedy. And it appeared that Kennedy hit Eddie, so Eddie won the match by disqualification.

Guerrero and Rey Mysterio fought each other the same year. Eddie claimed Mysterio’s son Dominic as his own. However, Mysterio later revealed that Eddie was doing it to attract more attention from the audience.
Furthermore, Eddie had his match with Batista in the final stages of his life, which he was supposed to win. Unfortunately, his match against Mr. Kennedy on November 11 was his last in WWE.
During the match, Eddie passed out, and Kennedy pinned him to win the match. Soon after Kennedy and Eddie finished their match, a team of medical personnel arrived and took Guerrero to the hospital for treatment, but he never returned, leaving his fans stunned.
Mr. McMahon, WWE’s owner, announced the shocking news during the match, and that the entire show would be dedicated to Eddie and his contributions to WWE.
Furthermore, the entire WWE came together to honor Eddie and pray for his soul. As a result, the greatest wrestler of all time abandoned everyone and never returned.
Eddie Guerrero Dies
Eddie was only 38 years old when he died, and he was still in the prime of his career. He had gained so much name and fame for himself despite being only in his mid-thirties.
Eddie, on the other hand, was a drug addict who had also been suspended from the WWF. Eddie’s Nephew, Chavo, discovered him dead in the bathroom in November 2005.
He was unconscious at the time, with a toothbrush in his hand. He was immediately taken to the hospital but was later declared dead. Doctors later determined that Eddie died as a result of acute heart failure.
Following Guerrero’s death, WWE halted all storylines and refused to force any wrestler to perform. Eddie was the focus of the entire SmackDown and Raw show. Chavo paid tribute to Eddie by displaying his finisher, while Batista entered Eddie’s car and Rey Mysterio wore his t-shirt.
