On September 22, 2022, Hesham Selim, a well-known actor from Egypt, away at the age of 64. Selim has been waging a protracted battle with cancer. The news was announced on social media by Selim’s close friend and Egyptian Actors Guild president Ashraf Zaki.
After seeing Selim’s Instagram post, many more continued to show Selim respect. Zaki stated that Selim would be buried in Sheikh Zayed’s Greater Cairo neighborhood, where he formerly lived.

After a protracted battle, Hesham Selim passed away from cancer. He was given the condition’s diagnosis in May 2022. During a live phone-in at the time, Selim verified his cancer diagnosis and stated that he was living at Ain Al Sokhna, a Red Sea beach resort outside of Cairo.
As the word spread, Selim’s fans began to worry about him, and many people were worried about his health and well-being as he underwent treatment for his health issue.
His old friend Zaki claimed in an interview from two months ago that he had lost contact with Selim.
Hesham Selim’s work in the entertainment industry
Born on January 27, 1958, Hesham Selim received his degree from the College de la Sainte Famille. Later, he studied at the High Institute of Tourism and Hotels in London and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
With the release of the movie Embratoreyyet Meem in 1972, Selim began his acting career. With the film Awdat Al Ibn Al Dhaal, he won his first lead role. He worked in the film and television sectors for approximately 50 years, and

Hesham was the famous footballer Saleh Selim’s son. Saleh earned the moniker El Maestro for the skill with which he led the Al Ahly football team to victory. He worked his way up the ranks to become the team’s manager and the director of the club’s governing body. Despite his notoriety, there isn’t much information available on Hesham’s professional life.
