Furthermore, this is not his first encounter with the authorities. Elijah Pritchett, a native of Columbus, Georgia, was a top offensive line prospect in the 2022 draft. Pritchett received five stars from several sports media outlets. Corey Joyner also coached him at Carver High School during his senior year.
He ultimately chose Alabama over Florida State. Pritchett arrived at Alabama in 2022 and appeared in 13 games for the Crimson Tide. During the season, he faced Tennessee, Texas, USF, Georgia, Texas A&M, Mississippi, and others.

Elijah Pritchett, a redshirt freshman offensive lineman, was detained by Tuscaloosa police. He was charged with a Class C misdemeanor under Alabama Code 22-11A-21. The crime was intentionally spreading a Sexually Transmitted Disease. Furthermore, the state of Alabama stipulates a specific punishment under AL Code 22-11A-21.

‘Anyone who willfully transmits or carries the risk of transmitting a sexually transmitted illness to another person commits a Class C misdemeanor.’
Elijah was eventually released on $500 bail. He is considered a juvenile offender because he is 19 years old. It is a law that affects people between the ages of 18 and 21. Only people between the ages of 18 and 21 are allowed to be prosecuted as adults. Authorities will give very few details about the arrest due to the sensitivity of the situation.
This type of sensitive medical data is legally protected. A Tuscaloosa court granted him the status. As a result, he was sentenced to probation and relinquished his right to a jury trial. Pritchett Had Previously Been Arrested
The arrested lineman, Elijah Pritchett, has a history of confrontational behavior. Before this arrest, authorities had stopped Pritchett for driving 95 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pritchett has been a Mercedes-Benz driver since 2014. Pritchett informed the officer that he was unaware of his speed.
A month later, he completed a four-hour defensive driving course. He performed ten hours of community service there. He also paid $197 in court expenses. Similarly, he helped at Carver (Ga.) High in Columbus from May 22 to May 26. Carver coach Michal Osoh signed a statement on the floor.
Pritchett was believed to have worked with players during practice, reminding them of the importance of discipline, among other things. Authorities dismissed him from the case after he made the statement. On September 5, the institution denied his application. There was no public repercussions for Pritchett after that.
