Emery Kelly is an American musician, singer, and composer best known as a member of the pop boy band Forever in Your Mind, frequently abbreviated as FIYM. The band has been around since 2013 and has signed with Hollywood Records, releasing two EPs so far.

He was drawn to music at a young age and began singing and filming his videos. After a few words of praise, he competed in the third season of the music talent program “The X Factor” – Emery didn’t make it to the final stages, but he still impressed judge Simon Cowell, who invited him to join other contestants in forming the pop boy band Forever in Your Mind.
Ricky Garcia and Jon Klaasen became his coworkers and friends; he was still eliminated before the finals with them, but FIYM lived on. Their debut single “She Lights the World” was released to tremendous acclaim on November 7, 2013, but Jon quit the band in 2014, and Emery’s nephew Liam Attridge took his place. Since then, the group has continued to perform with the same lineup.
Ascend to Stardom
They kept making music, and their following single, “Sweet Little Something,” was published in 2015.
They signed with Hollywood Records the same year, and before the end of the year, they released the song and music video for “Wrapped Up for Christmas.” Throughout 2016, they worked on new music as well as covers of several songs, creating medley mixes of songs like “Wildside,” “This Is Me,” “Rotten to the Core,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Uptown Funk,” among others. On July 1, 2016, they launched their first self-titled EP, which yielded songs like “Hurricane,” “Enough About Me,” and “Compass.”
They went on tour for the rest of 2016, which helped Emery and the rest of the band become well-known. After the tour, they continued to record new music, and in April 2017 released the new single “Smooth,” followed by their second EP “Euphoric” on January 12th, 2018, but it was previously available for pre-order on December 15th, 2017.

Emery has pursued acting in addition to music; he made his debut in 2015 with a tiny role in the TV series “Dog with a Blog,” and followed with minor roles in such TV series as “Best Friends Whenever,” and “Lab Rats,” both in 2015.
In 2018, he was cast as Lucas Mendoza in the TV comedy series “Alexa & Katie,” alongside Paris Berelc, Isabel May, and Jolie Jenkins. He also made his cinematic debut as Aiden in the sci-fi thriller film “Max Winslow and the House of Secrets” (2019), alongside Chad Michael Murray, Marina Sirtis, and Tanner Buchanan.
