Emily Whitmire, or Emily Whitmire, was born on May 24, 1991, under the sign of Gemini. She is Tiffany Whitmire’s and Mitch Whitmire’s oldest daughter, and she has a younger sister. Furthermore, the fighter was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in Washougal, Washington.
Her father, Mitch Whitmire, won the Washington state wrestling championship for the Panthers in 1980. Emily never got to make memories with her father because he died in a car accident when she was only a few months old. As a child who never met her father, she can only recall him through his trophy display in the wrestling room at Washougal High School.
As a result, Emily was raised in Washougal by her mother, Tiffany. Having said that, Tiffany and Emily are not your typical mother-daughter duo. To illustrate, her mother became an addict as a result of all the obstacles in her path and after her father died. As a result, Emily received inadequate life guidance during her childhood and early years.
“Growing up, I was always a scrappy kid wrestling with the boys, so I always had that fire in me.” My father is undoubtedly responsible for my success in combat sports. The genes must play a role.”

Emily was one of those unorganized kids growing up in Washougal, picking fights and doing all sorts of things. She was also an adventurous child who adored determination and fire. Her grandfather later introduced her to barrel racehorses while she was living with her grandparents.

How tall is Emily Whitmire? Weight, Hair Color
Emily Whitmire is 31 years old right now, having been born in 1991. She is a fiery blonde with glistening grey eyes. Emily appears small with her small face and medium-length hair, but she is as powerful as a small battery. Whitmire, who stands at 5 ft 5 inches (1.65 m), weighs 115 lb (52 kg) and has a reach of 63′′.
Emily, as we all know, did not come from a background of athletic training, diets, and the like. She does, however, manage to stay healthy. After a life of beers, cigarettes, and other vices, she now chooses healthy eating and cultivates her habits. Furthermore, despite having no prior training in striking, wrestling, or jiu-jitsu, she tries to maintain her athleticism through gym training.
Whitmire is more interested in healthy tonics such as turmeric and ginger teas, followed by an intense training regimen.”In addition to eating healthily, I’m a big fan of CDB and now (try to) avoid all prescription drugs.” For me, there are days when I go to the gym and feel a little tired and beat up, so my wrestling and grappling aren’t as good, and then my striking is on point.
On other days, I’m simply taking everyone down and submitting everyone. I’d probably favor my wrestling ability over my takedown ability. “I’m one of those fighters who began in MMA.”

How did Emily Whitmire start her Professional Career?
Whitmire was a rough teenager, involved in alcohol, smoking, and other vices. When she was 18, she realized her true potential in a Vancouver sports bar. To elaborate, the backstory goes as follows. Whitmire was on her chills at the time when she was asked to go out by her friends.
However, after a series of denials, she went out for it, and while slightly inebriated, she snuck into the bar with fake identification. The bar was hosting a professional mixed martial arts fight and was inviting people to grapple with Lisa Ellis. When no one dared to raise their hand for the match, you can guess who accepted the challenge: our very own Emily Whitmire.
Of course, Lisa Ellis easily won the match; however, she discovered her dream amidst the chokes.
“I couldn’t believe no one else in the bar wanted to do it, but once in the ring, I realized I was insane.” Perhaps it was the drinks. I got down there, put on my pink hoop earrings, put my hair in a ponytail, nearly broke my arm and choked out, and decided, ‘Hey, this is what I want to do.'”
Before Real MMA
A week later, she was invited to train and compete in a local title match, which she gladly accepted. During those early stages, she also picked up a few victories in the Portland area. In 2014, she was invited to join a professional fighting team led by former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate.
She then made the big decision to relocate to Las Vegas and train there. In the meantime, she worked as a waitress in a Las Vegas bar alongside her training to pay her bills.
Emily Whitmire, an MMA fighter

Whitmire had a 2-1 record when she began her MMA career and later joined the Ultimate Fighter 26 UFC TV MMA competition series.
