On June 29, at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah, New York, friends of Eric were given the opportunity to express their condolences and share their memories. Initially, grief predominated, but other emotions soon joined us.
Even though only immediate family members were allowed to attend the funeral, additional summertime celebrations of Eric’s life and accomplishments are planned.
Additionally, Eric Littmann’s yearly lecture at the University of Chicago Microbiome Center will now be named in his honor. This lecture was created as a way to simply recognize and express gratitude for his efforts.
