Her deceased corpse was discovered in a dry stream bed in the Cleveland National Forest, close to the Ortega Highway, in California, more than two months later, on April 27.

Tragically, she was found tied with duct tape and shrouded in many layers of garbage bags.

What was the cause of death in the autopsy report for Erica Alonso?

On April 27, 2015, Alonso’s body was found after he had been missing for 73 days. Concern was raised and a thorough search was conducted when the 27-year-old lady disappeared on Valentine’s Day after a disagreement with her boyfriend.

Although testing on her corpse revealed no obvious evidence of injuries, her autopsy concluded that her cause of death was still ‘undetermined.’

No signs of trauma were found when Alonso’s corpse was further examined. According to the toxicology results, she died as a result of a deadly mix of alcohol and gamma-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB), with three times the legal alcohol level in her blood.

GHB, widely referred to as the date rape drug, was found in her body. While an overdose was a possibility, the cause of death could not be determined with certainty by the police.

Her death was ruled an overdose by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, which said there was insufficient evidence to support any wrongdoing. When the situation is taken into account, contradictions do nonetheless appear.

Details of the Erica Alonso case

Erica and Larry, her ex-boyfriend, visited Sutra Lounge in Costa Mesa, California, a vibrant nightclub recognized as the ultimate party spot.

The next day, when Erica’s sister had not heard from her, she got in touch with Larry out of concern. A furious dispute between them during their evening together, according to Larry, resulted in Alonso storming out of his place at approximately four in the morning. She allegedly departed shortly after in her Honda Civic, according to Larry.

On March 25th, a solution materialized. Just a few miles from Erica’s parents’ house, a 2014 Honda Civic was found abandoned in a parking lot. Strangely, everything she owned in the car—all save her phone—remained undamaged.

Tragically, on April 27, researchers stumbled found a human corpse that was in the process of deteriorating close to the Ortega Highway in the Cleveland National Forest. Medical professionals examined the remains and determined that they belonged to the missing lady Alonso.

Examined Bio: Erica Alonso

After Erica’s death, her family has experienced tremendous pain and is now seeking redress.

She was a great woman with an undeniable beauty, charm, and charisma, but her life was cut short. She had a sensitive heart and a caring, family-focused mentality.

She had lofty goals for the future, including getting married, starting a family, and even going back to school.

Her loving parents, Isaac and Margarita Alonso, as well as her brother, Isaac Alonso, make up her family. The family is still adamant about seeking justice despite their tragic loss.

They disagree with the manner of Erica’s passing, as the autopsy report states. Over 30 miles from the scene of her death, her abandoned automobile was located in a neighborhood.

She wasn’t just left in that isolated stream bed by accident; someone put her there on purpose. The Alonso family is in need of the reality. She was a victim of domestic violence, and the offender was immediately exonerated by the police.
