Stand-up comedian and actor Erik Myers is most recognized for his appearances on television. He has appeared on Andrew Dice Clay Presents on Showtime.
In addition to doing stand-up comedy at clubs and theaters around the nation, he has been on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.”

Authorities assert that Myers was wandering in the northbound lane of the highway at 5:50 in the morning while a van was traveling north. He was struck by the vehicle because the driver did not notice him.
Erik Myers was immediately pronounced dead. The accident is currently under investigation.
Many of his friends and members of the comedy community as a whole took to social media after hearing the news of his passing to offer their condolences.
