On May 2, 1990, Zachary Weinreb was born. He was born in Dallas, Texas, and now lives in New York.
Zach Weinreb, as he is commonly known, is one of three children born to David Weinreb and Karen Shosid Weinreb. If the Weinrebs’ surname sounds familiar, it’s because they are a prominent family associated with the Howard Hughes Corporation.
The Howard Hughes Corporation began as an oil drilling company in Texas before diversifying into other businesses such as real estate development. Zach’s father, David, is this division’s co-founder and former CEO.
The Howard Hughes Corporation’s assets, which include some of the most successful commercial developments in the world, are valued at more than $7.0 billion as of 2018. That most likely means the Weinrebs have a sizable fortune. David, a former television star-turned-tycoon, has an estimated net worth of $175.0 million.
While Zach works at the Howard Hughes Corporation, his brother Kyle Weinreb (better known as Kyle Matthew) is an actor who has appeared in the films Bunk’d and Chilly Christmas. Carly Weinreb Finer, their sister, works at Avison Young.

The Professional Career of Zach
Zach Weinreb studied at the University of Southern California, where he was involved in his fraternity and led campus philanthropic initiatives. He earned a BA in communication in 2012, as well as minors in entrepreneurship and the music industry.
Weinreb began his career in the music and entertainment industries. He co-hosted the radio show SOS (Sports on Saturday) on KXSC for two years while in college. From 2010 to 2012, he worked for The Recording Academy as an intern and then as a Grammy U representative. Soon after graduation, he began creative A&R work at Atlantic Records with Jeff Vaughn.
Alexander Paul, a private label design company, was founded by him in 2011. For two years, he was its creative director.
He also gained experience in the legal side of the entertainment industry while working for two years with attorney David Helfant. Soon after, he joined iHeartMedia as a creative strategist, where he worked from 2014 to 2017.
In 2018, Zach joined the Howard Hughes Corporation. He was promoted to VP of creative strategy in 2023 after becoming the senior director of creative design and innovation.

In 2018, Jackie Oshry married her longtime boyfriend, Zachary Weinreb. Friends and family close to the couple had leaked the information. Jackie’s YouTube channel also has a video of her proposal.
