Travis Barker was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon. According to TMZ, the Blink-182 drummer and his wife Kourtney Kardashian arrived at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
The 46-year-old was initially admitted for health-related concerns, but the medical team felt that he needed additional care, so he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Although Travis’ illness’s specifics are unknown, fans have sent their support for the musician:
According to TMZ, Barker was carried on a stretcher with his wife Kourtney by his side. Moreover, the drummer tweeted “God rescue me” before going to the hospital, which perplexed some because it is also the name of a recently released song that he co-wrote with Machine Gun Kelly. But things took a turn for the worst when Alabama, his 16-year-old daughter, pleaded with admirers to pray for him. On her Instagram story, she wrote:
Last week, Barker’s wife Kourtney faced COVID-19 for the second time. On her blog, Poosh, she also discussed a few suggestions that had aided in her recovery. Kourtney recommended that persons with COVID take around 3,000mg of vitamin C, 3,000mg of vitamin D, and 60mg of zinc daily.
She also shared her favorite thermometer with her followers and urged them to “take vitamins and be hydrated” while recovering.
