Recent YouTube footage shows Randy Travis and artist Post Malone playing beer pong. After seeing him in a wheelchair in the video, Travis’ followers were alarmed.
Travis was spotted partying with Post Malone backstage during the latter’s last 12 Carat Tour performance in Nashville. Onstage, guitarist Billy Strings and country vocalist Luke Bryan joined them.
A few photographs and a video of Post and Travis playing beer pong were uploaded on social media by Strings.
In the video, Travis launched a ping-pong ball from his wheelchair. Strings claimed in the post’s comments section that Travis observed the entirety of Post Malone’s performance and that Malone sang one of Travis’ songs as he left the stage.
Travis released a TikTok video of the beer pong game and referred to Post Malone as “the sweetest man.”

Randy Travis’s admirers were alarmed when Billy Strings tweeted a video of him playing beer pong in a wheelchair. Although the exact cause has not yet been disclosed, it is likely that Travis’s wheelchair is the result of a stroke he suffered in 2013.
Due to a viral upper respiratory infection, Travis was admitted to the hospital in July 2013 with viral cardiomyopathy.
Then, he suffered a stroke and required brain surgery to relieve pressure. But, Travis awoke from surgery a few days later with a heart that was beating without aid.
After being released from the hospital, he went to a physical rehabilitation clinic, but despite therapy, he suffered from aphasia. As a result, he had to use a cane for some time.
By November 2014, he could walk somewhat. Since the stroke, he has remained mostly wheelchair-bound, but he has gained the ability to walk short distances over time.
Mary, Randy’s wife, told Rolling Stone in 2021 about her husband’s stroke and how she was unable to accept that he would be bedridden for the remainder of his life. According to her, Randy’s recovery involved numerous ups and downs.
