At the following year’s Wilderness Festival, the headlining acts will be The Chemical Brothers, Christine and the Queens, and Fatboy Slim.
The event, which can accommodate up to 10,000 people, will take place at Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire from August 3 through August 6.
Those in charge of organizing the event referred to it as “a jaw-dropping nature reserve” and called it “a one-of-a-kind celebration of wilderness itself.”
Additionally, performances are scheduled to be given by Confidence Man, Pip Millett, and the Sugababes.
The director of the festival, Rory Bett, was quoted as saying, “If anything, we want people to feel invigorated by coming to Wilderness.
We want them to leave thinking that every aspect that they could have possibly enjoyed themselves with their friends, family, and people they’ve just met has been completely and utterly satisfied.”
In addition, chefs such as Anthony Demetre, Adam Handing, and Masaki Sugisaki will be there to offer advice to attendees on how to improve their cooking skills.
Since its inception in 2011, Wilderness Festival has called the Cornbury Music Estate it’s home.
The Coronavirus epidemic forced the cancellation of the event in 2020, however, it was rescheduled for 2021 and Rudimental was the headlining act.
