“Everyone in my family is incarcerated. However, I have always maintained communication with the authorities. I subsequently started reading legal literature, having previously solely read self-help books. I don’t want to read anything if it isn’t going to help me. I’m not reading The Coldest Winter Ever.”

According to TMZ, Warthen made dramatic accusations against her ex-boyfriend during her court appearance, adding drama to the proceedings.
