According to an interview with Grazia Magazine, Chris began doing what he loved at a young age; he landed his first job at a hair salon at age 13 in 1996. He also mentioned doing his mother’s hair decades ago as a way to nurture her despite his mother’s busy work and home life.
He has continued to serve the most distinguished clients in the world. “Jen recently contacted me and said, ‘You always make me feel so good,'” he told the outlet, apparently alluding to Jennifer Lopez. It will never go out of style.

Chris appears to have two adult children, Kitty Blu Appleton and Billy Appleton, whom he frequently shows on his Instagram account. Chris has been silent on the identity of their mother, but he has made no secret of his affection for them.

“I realized I had the potential to make people feel exceptionally fantastic, similar to emotional medicine. This is what got me started on this path: helping people look beautiful, but more importantly, making them feel good. When you can accomplish both, magic occurs.”
