She phoned at 6:30 a.m. and said, “I’m going to swing by the store, pick up the drink mixes, and then I’ll be heading to your place,” The phone then rang around 30 minutes later. It rang a few times. I replied that no one was present.”

Derrill Ennis, a native of Auburn, Alabama, was apprehended and found guilty in 2018 of kidnapping and murdering Lori Ann Slesinski. When he was detained, he was 38 years old.
