Born September 30, 1957, Francine Joy Drescher is an American actress, comedian, writer, activist, and trade union leader. Drescher grew up in Queens, New York. She is also the third Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists national president. Fran is famous for her role as Fran Fine in The Nanny.
