In a statement released on Thursday, the South African Police Services (SAPS) asserted that Buyanga, 42, was apprehended at around 4 a.m. at a posh hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg, as a result of an Interpol-led investigation that put the business tycoon on Red Notice.
According to Colonel Athlenda Mathe, a spokesperson for SAPS, Sadiqi is wanted by Zimbabwean authorities for child trafficking, document falsification, and violating immigration law. According to the allegations, the suspect kidnapped his family members in Zimbabwe in April 2020 and took them with him as he fled to South Africa.

The owner of Hamilton Property appeared in Randburg Magistrates Court on Thursday morning and was ordered to remain behind bars until a formal bail application was made on November 17, 2022.
