On October 11, 1965, Frank was born in Davenport, Iowa. Bill Fritz is his father, and Susan Fritz is his mother. When Frank was a little child, his parents got divorced. In 1974, after her divorce, his mother wed Richard Zirbe.
Fritz’s childhood passions were rocks, beer cans, and postage stamps; he would go on to pursue these interests professionally. Speaking about his early employment, he obtained employment at Quad-City Automatic Sprinkler and Coast to Coast Hardware in order to save up enough cash for a $4,100 Harley-Davidson.

She went on to say that while they were residing in Frank’s farmhouse in Iowa, something went wrong when Frank and his companion attempted to light fireworks. After graduating, Frank Fritz began working as a fire inspector. There, he began gathering mementos pertaining to firefighters and firehouses. He had believed that his ideal employment would allow him to support himself after purchasing an item for $15 and selling it for $475.
He then stopped working as a fire inspector in 2002 and began collecting vintage and antique goods. In Savanna, Illinois, he founded the Frank Fritaboutntique store. He became well-known as a result, and The History Channel finally hired him to work on American Pickers.
