The Scottish athlete passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 66, and his son posted a confirmation of the news online.
Frank’s son Sean tweeted in the early hours of January 1, 2023, saying: “We deeply adored Dad; regrettably, he passed away this morning, surrounded by his family.
The former Scotland international passed away with his family and friends by his side, his son Sean confirmed on social media.
In a statement, St. Mirren acknowledged their “great sadness” at McGarvey’s passing and made a commitment to “forever remember” him.
