Gabbie is in a relationship with Spencer Touro. Like her, the basketball player’s boyfriend attended the University of Iowa. Even though the pair has yet to discuss their connection, there is no question that they met in college and started dating soon after.
Furthermore, the fact that they were both student-athletes (Touro played football and basketball) cemented their friendship. Even though fans had been noticing clues that something was cooking between these two since 2021, it wasn’t verified until 2023. Spencer posted a photo with his collegiate basketball star girlfriend, Gabbie, on Instagram on August 20, 2023.
“Ending summer the right way,” he wrote, to which she responded with three heart emojis and the comment, “the best end to summer.”
Despite the paucity of photographs of the pair on social media, they can’t help but show their love through comments. Spencer previously remarked on Marshall’s Instagram image of them celebrating their Big Ten Conference Tournament victory in March 2023, “That’s a champ” with a ring emoji.
Later that year, in May, he captioned her convocation photo, “Proud of you” with a heart emoji. Gabbie, for her part, used a love emoji to comment on her boyfriend’s Instagram post, “Let’s goooo,” when he announced the availability of online training programs.

He formerly worked as a DoorDash delivery driver, a cleaner for Fareway Stores, Inc., and a salesman for Kelly’s Auto Center.

Ernest and Marne Marshall gave birth to the 23-year-old basketball player on August 23, 2000, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Marshall’s parents were also collegiate athletes, with her father playing basketball at Bellarmine and her mother briefly playing basketball at Aquinas. Her mother has been the VP of Product Marketing at United HealthGroup since April 2023, where she has worked since 2008.
She had three siblings growing up: Noah, Luke, and Lily (two brothers and one sister). Her older brother, Noah, was born on May 12, 1997, and will be 26 in 2023. In 2019, he received a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
Later, he enrolled in the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he will graduate in 2022 with a master’s degree in data analytics.
